Author Talk - Nainsi Houston
Starting with autograph books and then moving into Irish Military Pension Records, Houston explains how she examined various soldiers’ lives after the Easter Rising in 1916 and their subsequent internment in Frongoch Prison Camp. This talk will illustrate how digital archival records allow for research opportunities that used to necessitate travel and potentially great expense.
Houston’s work with Irish studies meshed with her library and archival duties, creating an exciting chance to travel to Ireland and Europe. You never know where your studies and interests and writing will take you!
